Since 2003, Streams of Mercy has gone where hope seems lost, working in some of the world’s most challenging places. Our mission is clear: to care for society’s most vulnerable, particularly children who cannot change their circumstances alone.
From India’s red-light districts to Colombia’s mountain slums, we venture into the world’s forgotten corners. Here, hope takes shape in simple but powerful ways: a warm meal for a street child, a loving home for an abandoned baby, or an education that breaks cycles of poverty. By partnering with local leaders, we’re not just providing aid – we’re transforming entire communities.
Breaking Chains of Poverty
Ethiopia
In Ethiopia’s House of Joy over 100 abandoned babies have found loving Christian families. Like Samuel, who arrived severely malnourished and is now thriving with three sisters who prayed for a baby brother.
Colombia
In Colombia’s toughest neighborhoods, our partners run children’s programs where former street kids become community leaders. In one converted theater called “The Jungle,” 210 children find safety and purpose every weekend.
Zimbabwe
In Zimbabwe, Fountain of Hope rescues children from the streets and provides them a future. Meet Linnet – once homeless at age 10, she’s now training in catering management and planning to help other vulnerable children.
