Mission
Bethel Home provides a safe and nurturing environment for children rescued from extreme poverty, abandonment, and the risk of trafficking. Through education, mentorship, and spiritual growth, Bethel equips children with the tools to break generational cycles of hardship and step into a future filled with hope. The home operates alongside Bethel Schools, which ensure quality education for children who would otherwise have limited access to learning.
Programs and Activities
- Bethel Home: A refuge for 160 children from vulnerable backgrounds, offering food, shelter, emotional support, and spiritual guidance. New children continue to arrive, rescued from trafficking risks, child labor, and extreme poverty.
- Education & Higher Learning: 144 children are currently enrolled in school, 15 are in intermediate college, and 14 are pursuing university degrees in fields such as nursing, law, computer science, and journalism.
- Schooling for Younger Students: Bethel Schools provide structured education for children of all ages, ensuring they receive academic support, character development, and Christian mentorship.
- University Support: Bethel Home encourages students to dream beyond their circumstances, guiding them through higher education and vocational training to build sustainable futures.
- Spiritual & Personal Growth: Children participate in daily devotions, prayer gatherings, and mentorship programs that help them develop strong moral and spiritual foundations.
- Breaking the Cycle of Poverty: Through education, training, and empowerment, Bethel ensures that children and young adults break free from child marriage, unemployment, and domestic violence.
