In 1996, Faith & Love In Action was founded in Port-au-Prince. Partnering with Aid International, Inc, they bring change to the lives of orphans and vulnerable children in Haiti. In the 1990’s, they started a home for a few homeless street girls. Now they operate a home in Jacmel where they care for over 80 children in three dorms: girls, boys and babies! Faith & Love In Action also runs a bilingual school for younger children. The older children attend schools in the area, and 5 are in their first year of University.

Faith & Love In Action also operates several schools located in Marbial, Les Cayes and Carrefour.

They’ve seen various people in the community provide food, animals and vegetables for them.  Faith & Love In Action continues to work on sustainability: They raise over 100 chickens, which trains the children in agriculture, and provides a regular supply of eggs. 

Seed Programs

Faith & Love In Action also helps the community through their partnership with Hope Seeds, Intl. Hope Seeds have sent over 10,000 packets of seeds for the people of Marbial. After meeting some of the staff from Hope Seeds, Inc in Fort Myers, Faith & Love In Action was able to donate 600 packages to families they sponsor to help grow vegetables to support their family. People also come down from the mountains in order to participate in education and training in agriculture techniques!
