New Life Ethiopia: Village Kindergarten
The New Life Village Kindergarten serves 60 children every day. These children get a chance for a good future through education in a small class setting (20 vs 50 from a traditional Ethiopian Kindergarten). This is something they could never dream of. The New Life Village Kindergarten is providing a solid foundation for these children, offering them a future they never would have had.
New Life Ethiopia is meeting the educational needs of the children They are also meeting practical needs through their community garden. This is helping the community and is providing a hot lunch to the children attending the school
Joy Casey
Joy Casey is a wife, a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 2. In 2007, she visited Ethiopia for the first time. It was then God ignited a great love in her for the land and people of Ethiopia. God revealed His heart for destitute women and for children without family to care for them. Over the years her vision expanded from placing children for international adoption to recruiting and empowering Ethiopians to adopt the children in their own community. Joy is working tirelessly to bring the adoption message to the Ethiopian church community and is delighted that the majority of the children in NewLife’s orphanage are being adopted by local Ethiopian families.
