Mission
SIITA Nest Mother’s Love Home, founded by Alice Kisolo, provides shelter, food, medical care, education, and spiritual support to children affected by civil war, AIDS, abandonment, and family breakdown. More than just a shelter, SIITA Nest is a family where vulnerable children find love, stability, and hope for the future.
Programs and Activities
- Foster Care & Shelter: Providing a safe, loving home for orphans and abandoned children.
- Feeding Program: Ensuring that every child receives three nutritious meals daily, despite rising food costs.
- Medical & Welfare Support: Addressing health needs, including treating malnourished children and providing immunizations.
- Spiritual & Emotional Healing: Children find healing through worship, dance, and counseling to overcome trauma.
- Community Outreach: Assisting struggling families with counseling and practical aid, rescuing children from neglect and malnutrition.
- Agricultural Sustainability: Land in Kamuli has been cultivated to reduce food costs, with successful harvests of maize.
