We began our time at the Rescue & Restore house with the kids singing and sharing about their lives. One of the highlights was the amazing energetic Indian dances the kids did for us. One of the older girls choreographed the dances, and we got a taste of the beautiful culture of India.
It was a wonderful time to be with these bright, articulate & affectionate kids. From the home we drove to a local shoe store where each child was able to pick out a new pair of much needed shoes. Being able to go to a store and pick out their own shoes deeply touched the kids.
From the shoe store we dodged the chaotic traffic all the way to McDonalds for a fun time of french fries, chicken sandwiches & laughter in the party room! What a wonderful day with these terrific kids!
